A Glitch in Time

Rate this book
The novel is a time travel tale about two women who escape from a doomed reality to America in the nineteen eighties. The Earth’s timeline had bifurcated at a critical point during the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis. In the Fated Reality, Kennedy takes the advice of his military advisors, setting off a nuclear war between the US and the Soviet Union. By the year 2010, the Fated Reality is on the verge of a larger nuclear disaster. Laura Claremont, in a desperate attempt to save the doomed reality, invents a device that can open an aperture on the bifurcated timeline. She and her colleague go through the aperture and back in time to the Alternate Reality (our reality). Torn between their duty to the Fated Reality and the love they found in the Alternate Reality, they attempt to carry out a strategy that can satisfy both their obligations and desires.
