When Australia's long drought breaks, only for the country to be plunged into an ice age, who will survive?

In the year 2012, the Southern Hemisphere suffers a climate change disaster, returning to an ice age. The few people who survive react very differently. Two families in central Victoria, Australia, struggle to survive, making use of one man’s hobby, sled dog racing and his Malamute sled dogs.

I loved writing this story. It still sucks me in when I read it. And the reader reviews I've received have some common themes- "I couldn't put it down", "fast paced and action packed" and "I loved it!". Frozen Below is now available on Kindle Direct

Australia is baking in a summer dominated by drought. Below this parched continent, massive icebergs and slabs of continental ice are breaking away from the Antarctic and being blown by stronger than average winds into warmer waters. The effect is catastrophic.
Tim and his family become aware that a storm they’re experiencing isn’t normal. Snow is falling. Further investigations reveal that a massive snowstorm has already shut down New Zealand and Tasmania. There is massive loss of life. Tim knows his family could also lose theirs.
Fortunately, Tim is passionate about dog-sledding and has the equipment and animals on hand that will enable him to move through this devastating storm. Will it be enough to save them?
I enjoyed this novel a great deal. It is a well-paced thriller which contains gritty realism. Tim and his mate have to overcome many obstacles in their fight for survival, and along the way find it necessary to shoot wild dogs and even wilder humans. To me it felt authentic.

I believe there is a sequel in the works. I’m looking forward to it.

Realistic future world: Action from start to finish… this story is a credible and intelligent take on what may happen should climate change continue to escalate and surge out of control. This violent, harsh, life or death drama drives the characters – Mother Nature in fury exposing elements of raw human nature and the will to live in all animals. The adventure in this story takes us on a dog-sledding journey of survival. The depiction of this is detailed, smart and fascinating. This is an exciting read.

This book was non-stop action from beginning to end. Once I started it, I wasn't putting it down until it was done. An excellent and highly entertaining adventure/thriller with characters to love and hate. One, I am sure many would agree, should have been left roadside.
I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys an action packed, fast moving read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the plot was well thought out and the environmental aspects researched enough to make the weather event seem credible and possible. I have a Malamute so I admit to having a vested interest, however, though they were integral to the story it was an enjoyable read for anyone. Happily read any sequels!

This book did draw me in straight away. Explosive and mind blowing. Looking at today's weather patterns, totally plausible. I only knocked a star off for the alpha behaviour with the Malamutes. Very alpha male, which I personally don't agree with, but who's to say that it wouldn't be necessary in such a drastically changed world. I do hope you are writing a sequel.
