No matter the area you’re from, that place likely retains unforgettable memories; some of them wonderful, and others embarrassing. Regardless of the type, those memories have -no doubt- helped shape you into the person you are today. Recollections of lost loves and the folks you never had the chance to love, disagreements, and general awkwardness while growing up. If you’ve experienced any of these situations, you’ll relate to William Snyder’s unique portrayal of similar events while growing up in Southern California. This is a great read.

Highly entertaining! I grew up in Hawthorne, so I could really relate to a lot of the book. But it's a great read even if you're not from Hawthorne!
