The only oceanic voyage worse than the Shackleton Expedition was Odysseus’s Odyssey, surprisingly Shackleton’s crew somehow all managed to endure whereas Odysseus was the sole survivor in his epic. This is a quick read about a real explorer and his crew who showed tremendous courage and determination to live when the odds were totally against them. Perfect for grade school and middle school readers.
