Frank and Celeste met many years ago during their freshman year in college. The attraction was instant, strong, and mutual. But racial differences compounded Frank's shy demeanor, insecurities and social inexperience. Bad timing and Frank's acute tunnel vision combined to cause a life-changing humiliation for Celeste when she went out on a limb for him.
