This volume collects issues 1-4 of the Lil' Hero Artists series. Follow the adventures of Jason Deroga and his friends as they are drawn into an adventure beyond their wildest dreams. When Terry the Professional kidnaps his sister Jamie, Jason is transformed into a fantasy creature with a pencil for an arm. The mysterious Seven says he and his friends Ken Sable and Sally Yola are the chosen ones, but is it true? Do they have what it takes to rescue Jamie? Issue #1 was first featured in Alterna Comics' Alterna Tales #3, and Issue #2 was written by Nick Vollmer. DJ Coffman (Hero By Night, Yirmumah!) called it "cool cartooning!", and Michael Bracco (the Novo series) said the book "has the potential to capture the magic of Jeff Smith's BONE."
