The Student Discovery Bible is a project that will allow students ages 7 - 11 to discover the journey that is God's Word. This is a collection of Bible stories using the actual International Children's Bible® Scriptures running in chronological order from Genesis to Revelation. There are bridge passages to help transition from one story to the next. The purpose of this product is to transition the young reader from Bible storybooks to read actual Bible text. Also, it begins to teach basic Bible history and principles in an easy-to-understand format. There are extra materials such as expanded biographies, articles, photos, and maps to help keep kids engaged.

Carolyn Larsen has written more than 40 books for children and adults. She is best known as the author of the Little Girls Bible Storybook line of products, which have collectively sold more than one million units. In addition, Carolyn is a speaker who has taught and spoken extensively in the United States and overseas. She is the cofounder of the performing group Flashpoints, which is comprised of five women who share a God-ignited passion to encourage women and girls to know God better through drama, creative movement, signing, and humor. Carolyn is the mother of three and lives with her husband in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

picked this one up as the "special" book i read to the children each day...never knew i would learn so much in the process...we are loving it..it does leave out chunks of the Bible, but i think this is common in most children's versions set up as devotion style readings.
