This is the first powerful book of Pam Blackwell's series. Several families escape Salt Lake City when Interpol discovers their secret meetings. They travel to Southern Utah to regroup. More families join them and they live in uncertain comfort until threatened again by discovery. Again they escape to a temporary quiet sanctuary where they await the call to Zion.

The UWEN world order drops nuclear bombs on invading troops from China, creating distrust and chaos among the fragile alliance of nations. Opportunist leaders bomb the UWEN headquarters creating a wave of bombings around the globe. The world order collapses. Nuclear fallout dots the globe and people suffer.

A select group of church leaders travel to Missouri where they join others to dedicate the temple grounds, and to prepare the destroyed area for the infux of saints and righteous people who will arrive.

Several leaders return to their families and prepare to travel to Zion. Finally Zion has arrived!

This was a powerful, intense, stirring thriller. Totally unique!

I do NOT like to read the same books over and over, but the Millenial Series by Pam Blackwell has been an exception. Every couple of years, I find myself reading them again, however, I still have to find the last two of the series.
These books are aimed at the last days in accordance with LDS beliefs.

This is a fascinating book. The author develops her characters in such a way that the reader will want to discern all there is to know about them. The story takes place in the latter-days when the earth and its people are going through great tumult and upheaval. Her presentation of future times is brilliantly portrayed, making one have great hope that good will prevail. I couldn't put the book down. Luckily, this is a series....

This is a 3 part series about a fictional family caught up in the very very last days before the 2nd coming. The author, Pam Blackwell, actually researched the 2nd coming extensively and some experiences that happen and things mentioned in her book are eerily familiar. I'm not saying this IS what will happen, but it's rather interesting how all the events play out.
It's a fun read!

An LDS interpretation of what might happen at the end of the world. I LOVED this first book in the series. Very well written. I never finished the others ones, because they weren't as well written as the first.

I really wanted to like this book. But I didn't really. It wasn't well written and I don't think anyone proof read it for errors. I really struggled to finish it.
