I live in South Dakota with my husband and my two boys. I also have a dog named Quincy.

I usually do my writing on my laptop at the dining room table. Or I use the computer in my office.

I love writing nonfiction books because I learn all sorts of interesting things about our world.

I got asked for children’s book recommendations the other day. Math and science focus. This would definitely make the cut. I like how physically big the book is. I appreciate the inclusion of so many bright colors and so much vivid photography. The authors have chosen examples to illustrate the concept. They have chosen well. The text does not overwhelm. I would like to seek out other titles from these authors.
