This is a good K-2 book for how to compromise with friends. It also would be a good resource for predicting and illustrating. You could also use this book as a book walk and just use the illustrations to tell a story.

I like this book in how it protrays the act of sharing. All children need to learn how to share, even some adults. This book had several different chararcters in several different settings that allowed you to picture exactly what was happening. This book had enough activities going on to keep the reader interested.

Activity:
After reading this book, I would have the children make their favorite snack and then share with their classmates. This would help children learn to share, promote social skills and allow them to practice cooking.
