For general population it may be a great guide to 'get' and idea what all those terrifying names like Parkinson's, Huntington's, Sclerosis and others mean. However, as natural science scholar myself I find it just too abstract. My general current interest is Parkinson's Disease and I have to admit I did not find anything I already didn't know. As a matter of fact, some information was so limited that chapters like Brain Tumors or Alzheimer's I was very near skipping. I guess to conclude all I can say is that before starting this book I already did not expect much as I always do a background check on science writers and found no information whatsoever, so all in all it's good for people who have no knowledge but not for somebody who has been doing some serious research.
