Gold Eagle books of the nineties are more miss than hit. The first book in the series wasn't bad. This one blurs fact with fiction. The Code Zero team (like James Bond, they have a license to kill.) infiltrate an outlaw biker gang this time around. They do it in record time, of course. The whole story is one cliche after another. You'll know what's going to happen before it does.

When the team is being briefed, we are told page after page about outlaw biker gangs. Real outlaw biker gangs. It gets a bit tedious. Gold Eagle books was an imprint by Harlequin books. There is a lot of feelings on display here too. A biker chic who just wants love, instead of being beat by her old man. An agent who helps her out, not only mentally. The action was a let down as well. All in all sort of a bomb.

I enjoy the first two books of this trilogy. They are about Centac a special group attached to the DEA that can do code zeroes, which is basically sanctioned murder. This time Wolfe and Morales infiltrate a dangerous motorcycle club that is dealing drugs and weapons. They are also responsible for a young agent's death. Wolfe and Morales are under a code zero and they plan on killing everyone in the inner circle of the club, while gathering evidence to shut down the clubs illegal enterprises.

Recommend the first two books for sure if you are a fan of men's adventure. They are published by Gold Eagle so you know what you are getting if you are a fan of Bolan and his spinoffs.
