A Marriage of Convenience It was a logical way to escape from the petticoat line. And Lord Wyse found the fresh-faced Rose Lambe a willing partner in the deception, though he hadn't counted on the sweet Rose having thorns...or a mind of her own.
From Dressmaker to Debutante It was desperation that had driven Rose to agree to an engagement to the Ton's most elusive catch, the dashing Lord Geoffrey Wyse. Though she knew that her only true happiness lay in capturing the heart of her "unexpected" husband.
I cannot remember much save the fact that I had to do all it takes to read this. Because I thought being an old categorical that it was gonna be crazy and alpha-ry and bodice ripper-esque. But it was not. It was actually kind of tame.
But illogical, I could not fault it. She was a lady turned seamstress. I hate trade =)) And then the whole "other woman" competition getting in the way all the time and the fucking abstinence - kill me now why don't you.
I love this novel! I read it at least once every year. Although, I would love to see a novel based on Lord Philpott. Please Taylor Ryan, consider this.
