c2011. Oof - what a load of rubbish. The style is meodramatic and, well, childish. I don't think that I could get over the name of the heroine - Faellin Angel Hunter - really? And then the poor poor English - even in the Acknowledgments we have grammatical errors such as " This book I dedicate to those few who pushed me or told me it would not happen, without their doubt that I could be a published writer this story would not exist. Then we have Without my powers as an adept witch, my third degree black belt, and my empathic ability, I would have died many times over. I was probably one of the deadliest women on the hemisphere. No, I'm not bragging." Not for me, I'm afraid. Although I can see that other people have enjoyed it, I can not recommend.

What would you do if you found out you would be a part of the solution to the end of the world? How would you decide who lived and who died? Angel is an empathy that works with a small coven of witches to eliminate demons. Little did she know that when her friend Michael invited her to a concert, her soul mate Aries would be there and everything she knew as true before would change.
The bond between Angel and Aries is so strong that if they aren’t near each other they have physical pain. When Kali comes into the picture to be reincarnated as their daughter, the world will never be the same as it was.

An Angels Ascent. :). It consists of Demons, vampires, lycans/werewolves, shapeshifters, and the best, witches. x).
Pretty good kick ass action in the beginning. Until after it starts to get very detailish with how Angel's life turns out to be. First its perfect. And later on after she goes to a rock concert with a best friend of hers who goes by the name Micheal, it becomes hellish, and out of this world! She falls in love (from just first glance) with an immortal named Aries. She's destined to become someone she never thought she'd be, which is a strong witch (even though she is a witch already, but we're talkin about a Goddess/warrior here), and she needs to accomplish a mission that's out of her hands, something she can't stop from fulfilling. She has to whether she likes it or not. And everyone in the world is gonna have to accept...the end of the world and death.
She's gonna have to take responsibility strongly, and she's gonna have to fight so hard to live, and to give so much. Basically sacrifice.
I'm not gonna spoil much, because that would be just giving away too much. xD. Its worth a read. I enjoyed this second book from Kristi (first one was Shade's Loss. Make sure to check it out ;) ). :). She writes really amazing. ^_^.

This was a great book. the characters were very detailed. the story was very compelling the plotline amazing. i do love the way christina writes it very thought out and very mind gripping it gets you from the first page and keeps u seeated. i will always be waiting for her next book. her characters in this book a very very loveable my fave being angel in this one and raven i loved both characters will be buying an actual paperback so my friends can read it too. another awesome book and another one to added to my bookshelf both ebook and physically.

This story was remarkable, powerful and brought tears to my eyes. The supernatural elements of vampires, fairy creatures, demons and witches caught my interest. Then she put in all the faiths in an intrigue way and created an entertaining but possibility of twists and conflict of the world ending and earth was tired, want to be reincarnated as a powerful goddess, coming out of a witch in love with a vampire, and I was lost. The book was so magical, it was a gritty yet so imaginative with allot of research and conflict. She touched upon the agony and sacrifices one faces and ask would they give up their lives for another?.

I wanted to go back and re-read and ponder about the characters and the love, they as we, the human race have for one another and to forgive our enemies to heal and be able to fight the darkness in our lives. This is an interest concept as the saved ones will go to an secluded island and prepare for the final battle. It is jazzy, modern yet refreshing story with a touch of innocent which readers need these days. I highly recommend this author and her books.

The only bad thing I can say about this book was that it was a bit too descriptive for my usual tastes(I prefer equal parts dialogue and narrative). That being said, the characters were real, believable. Their feelings came across through their actions. There was a good solid plot full of interesting twists and turns. I can be a bit leery of most books involving witches, mainly because many people don't make the characters themselves very realistic, thinking that if the character is a witch that she can't also be a normal person, which makes the characters hard to relate to. That wasn't the case with this book. Without over-complicating things Worrell was able to create an impossible situation with realer than life characters. The relationship between Angel and Aries was beautiful, but I won't spoil the plot for you. You'll have to read it for yourself, and I do recommend it.

Mother nature is truly terrifying

Angel is nothing special, she's a witch in a small coven, owns a bookstore and feels like life is good. That's until the Goddess Kali (mother earth) comes to her and tells Angel that the planet is going to be wiped out because of the humans destruction of the planet. Certain people have been chosen to survive but only hundreds. Everything else is wiped off the face of the earth. Angel finds her soul mate in Aries and along with the help of some vampires, shifters and witches they follow Kali's instructions to go to Aries' childhood home on an island and build a colony for the survivors until the destruction and battles to follow. free download

This was an ok book. A little hard to understand at times with grammar and scene jumping, but still a good read. I liked the idea of an apocalypse started by mother nature, and a mini army of immortals who choose which people to take with them onto their hideaway island to start the new world. The way it ended I'm guessing there will be a sequel, however i wont rush out to read it as i have other books on my TBR list that are more appealing to me.

An Angels Ascent is a tail of modern witches, demons cruising clubs looking for victims and vampires striking a more noble version than is commonly told. I liked this book as a mash up of themes drawn from several of today's pop-culture meets supernatural shows now taking form in literature.

O.M.G. One of THE best romance novels I have read in a long while!!! Way to go, Ms. Worrell!! (insert standing ovation here)! !

This one has it all.... Nail biting, tears, happiness, kick-*as heroine, hunky, yummy bad-*as guys... What can I say, I loved it!!
