This atlas combines the precision and beauty of 325 Netter and Netter-style illustrations with updated information to reflect our growing understanding of the many regions and systems of the brain, spinal cord, and periphery. Concise neuroscience atlas using Netter illustrations to highlight key neuroanatomical concepts and clinical correlations. The single best source of illustrations of the nervous system, with comprehensive up-to-date information in a succinct and useful format, reflecting current understanding of the nervous system.
A fellow neurosurgery resident commented that their favourite neuroanatomical atlas was Netter's. Upon purchasing this book, I was taken aback at how poor the text was -- very little anatomic detail, lack of functional descriptors, etc. Later confronting said resident, he remarked the same; the book that he'd lauded was Netter's Concise Neuroanatomy (with neurological focus). This book is absolutely futile. I do not reference it... ever. The other edition is indeed superior to this one.
Its a good book, I´d give it 3.5 if I could. It has a lot of images and those are great even if they dont show a ton of anatomical details. There isnt a lot of text and thats a problem sometimes, but I also appreciate how simple and concise the book was.
Excelente recurso para neuroanatomía, me agrada que contenga detalles de fisiología y de alusiones a patologías en su clínica, es simplemente una herramienta que no se deja de leer.
