The value in this book is in its brevity. For those who might be interested in learning T'ai Chi, it provides quick summaries of its history and it's philosophy. While it also provides step-by-step photos with captions of a beginner's T'ai Chi form, I would think that this section of the book would be useful only to students who are actively participating in a T'ai Chi class for reference and reinforcement purposes.
