This is an introduction to Concurrent Programming developed at the University of Toronto by the Computer Systems Research Group, with the support of the National Research Council of Canada. It is intended for a segment of a survey course on operating systems, systems programming, or programming languages. The Appendices cover the specifications for the SP/K language, the CSP/K extensions to SP/K, their syntax, and compilers. There are simluating programs for Z7 perpheral devices, the Z7 CPU, Z7 jobs, and a Simple Z7 operating system. It concludes with a Collected Bibliography and a Subject Index.
