A new and fascinating view of the genocide of Rwanda 1994, told by a refugee who had to flee the country in terror of what retributions the Tutsi had for the Hutus after the genocide. Traveling over 1000s of kilometres by foot with all of their belongings, Angelique looses family members during the challenging and hopeless escape. In this book, she describes journey and tells her story of the escape from Rwanda to Zaire to Denmark. Although the language was very descriptive, it was still a fascinating insight into an often forgotten side of the Rwanda genocide of 1994.

Have red it once, gave it back to the one I borrowed it from, and will buy it, to read it again.
