very well presented history of CONFUCIAN PHILOSOPHY. I liked that the author did not fill the book with hundreds of dates but kept it general, He did include so many names which I had a difficult time keeping up with as not being able to pronounce them but I was surprised to find that I could remember them as the book went on. No wasted wording. two hundred pages of information , all well organized and easy to follow. I did not expect to enjoy this book but I did. BUT MUCH OF MY AWE FOR CONFUCIAN PHILOSOPHY IS GONE.
