Sometimes, upon meeting someone new, natural chemistry is lacking and it takes a third party, an advocate, to get the friendship going. I never 'got' St Thérèse's spirituality from when I read her autobiography years ago. Now, John Udris has served as her advocate and my heart is now warmed by the incredible heroism that Thérèse possessed. This little book has opened my eyes to the boldness, courage, audacity and fearless trust that the saint's Little Way encapsulates. Now, finally, I can begin to identify with Thérèse's spirituality. I hope we can be great friends, and that I can inherit a double share of her spirit in the certainty of being loved by God!

An interesting story about how strong was Saint Therese's faith....how she was not silent or meek about showing her Catholic faith and how she encouraged others to be the same way. It's a reminder of how we should be bold and daring about expressing our Catholic faith and spread the word of God and let others know that what he wants of us is to love one another, plain and simple.
