I learned quite a bit about Texas history from this book. I appreciate the inclusion of Mexicans, Tejanos, and Native Americans. There are graphics and photographs that break up the text as well as maps, a timeline, a glossary, and an index.

This is a great Texas history book. There is a lot of information and is a great introduction into Texas history. Great for all ages.
