Selina is in lust with Matt, the good-looking young man that her step-mother Miranda wasted no time in replacing her father with shortly after his premature death. When Miranda has to visit the US for three weeks, Selina hatches a pot to seduce Matt. Quite the naughty book--lots of casual sex and British colloquialisms (dirty Brits) made this book pretty hard to put down. It kind of reminded me of Gone with the Wind if it was x-rated; the heroin of the novel thinks she wants this guy and then another guy gets in her way and makes her mad all the time...then when she realizes she really wants the second guy he plays hard to get a la Rhett and Scarlett.
