In this oversized volume, the Viennese-born artist Elke Krystufek (b. 1970) presents paintings, collages, sculptures, videos, photographs and performance work made over the last 16 years. She explores social norms and patterns of behavior influenced by the family, attempting to discern the multilayered phenomenon of identity.
krystufek's takes on artistic production withdrawal (or disappearance?) and self representation are by far some of the most advanced i have encountered.
