Good book with Albert Goshman's entire act, including his encore routines, as well as his staple tricks. I would love to see him perform, but I am too young to have seen him live. The patter is dated, but magicians shouldn't really be lifting scripts and wording straight from the description anyway.
In addition, much of the material is unique to Mr. Goshman, but that's where the beauty of this book is: you can see how a professional routines a solid, action-packed 20 minutes of close-up magic, without feeling like you want to 'steal' the entire performance. Magicians of almost any stripe will find something to amuse them as well as instruct them on how powerful magic is constructed.
