A good introductory kit for those who are interested in writing film criticism. The book provides essential elements, structures and types (film review, film critique, and and film research paper) in film criticism's writing with useful examples and easily comprehensible English language for a non-native English speaker like myself.

I thought this book would make me the next Roger Ebert... Nope it would just get me through freshman year of film class at a community college. However, there is one upside to this book. It has a handful of decent film review essays in it. That is why this book get's 2 stars.
