Finished this one this morning. On the whole, a book of welcome reminders. Occasionally, things get a wee bit too...evangelical? for me, but on the whole it did the trick.

365 Nuggets to chew on or admire

I enjoyed the short reading every day. Some days reached me more than others, depending on my circumstances. Sometimes the message felt shallow but that could be that I didn’t take the time to contemplate it enough to find the core. This would be a good book to gift to a new Christian or even a not yet Christian.

Turn a page a day for Comfort & Some Laughs

I am so glad I found this book. It has been an amazing assist to my mornings. I have a list of books that I read from each day. This one is on the top of my list and today I must buy the new one. I can’t go one day without reading this book. Happy new year and blessings to come

I've always loved my Guideposts daily devotionals and this one was great too. However, I did miss the pictures of the authors; I always like reading their bios and seeing their pictures as many seem like old friends after reading their devotionals for years.

This is the classic Daily Guideposts story telling style. Features analogies from famous authors, ministers and other public figures. Sweet and relatable but it didn't impact my daily life.
