John Andreas Widtsoe (31 January 1872 – 29 November 1952) was a Norwegian-American scientist, author, and religious leader who was a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) from 1921 until his death in 1952.
This is a great early instruction book on the Priesthood. Who can use it, how to use it. How to be worthy of it. It’s got small chapters broken up by sections and a lot of great quotes from some of the early leaders of the church.
Definitely not my favorite of Elder Widtsoe's books. The first half of the book is interesting. The latter half discusses a lot of the administrative parts of church government.
