Very complete guide to beghin with the drawing comoci books dream I have

The book is a detailed guide to drawing cartoons and manga, the best part being that it uses more than 2500 illustrations to show the techniques and describe the concepts...
it shows how to create characters and introduces concepts and methods for scene building, narrative development and creation of environments... it touches upon lighting, perspectives, scale, settings and how to create textures, reflections, motion - all the elements that are needed to bring characters to life! it covers traditional techniques and introduces the new digital approach...
It can be used by beginners to get an overall perspective and even a reference for step-by-step learning; experienced designers can find tips and ideas for exploring new ideas...
I did not get a chance to follow the book as a reference but an initial read has given me a good exposure to techniques, concepts, drawing styles, colouring approaches, and an understanding of digital tools and their versatility... it was interesting to learn some of secrets of the trade such as many of the descriptive backgrounds that we see in illustrations are created from photos that are scanned and inked digitally!
I know a lot more than when I started the book a few weeks back and enjoyed the experience... I hope I can follow up and try out some of these ideas and explore this very fascinating space...
