Thomas Wayne and Dick Grayson set off to find help in the pre-Flashpoint Gotham City. The emotional implication of these worlds colliding comes crashing down when Thomas Wayne confronts this world’s Batman, as father meets son!
This is a highly intriguing concept as it pits many of the DC Universe characters against each other in a battle royal constructed by Brainiac. The story and artwork are good enough. I'll see it through to the end, as I'm interested in this concept.
So the infamous Convergence, i honestly don't know what some peoples problems are! So this continues the Earth 2 justice league, fighting Telos and trying to get back to earth 2. This issue however mostly has Dick Grayson and Thomas Wayne Batman go to gotham for Bruce Wayne Batmans help! I really like Thomas Wayne batman, hes serious but hes got this dry sense of humor just like in Flashpoint which makes me like him!

Great issue! I loved the father and son theme! We have Grayson and his son with Barbara Gordon and we even have Thomas Wayne and Bruce Wayne. Man those two meeting eachother, that was one of the greatest things I ever saw in comics. Beautifully written and drawn with a lot of respect for both characters. Those two pages were they meet and the splash page were we see a sad Bruce Wayne after Thomas Wayne leaves are my favorite parts of this issue! Grayson's lines as the narrator are great. Beautifully written. Let's get started on issue 3.
Wow. What a stellar issue #2, and things get a whole lot, ummmmm, other worldly? The panels with Thomas and Bruce meeting was stupendous, and I'm not even a fan of Barman. But I have to hand it to Jeff King, the narrative by Grayson was priceless, and I even appreciated that. 2 Batmans, meeting from 2 different worlds was just a fantastic center piece for this cross-over event. Great story so far...
This one gives a bit of this particular Dick Grayson's background right before they ended up on the desert with no city. It makes you wonder if THIS group is one that should survive because if they do, what do they really have to go back to?
You are left wondering what the Waynes said to each other. You figure out that Greyson is narrator of this book and what he knows is going tell the rest of the story although The batman we meet might not last til the end watch what he takes here.
Another lovely issue :) What did the Waynes talk about?! Dammit! Wow - meeting your father like that... gotta hurt. Blue Superman vs Red Superman - don't make me laugh xD
