Good overview of the Bahamas (in preparation for a trip there).

The author gives the reader a good overview of the history, geography, people, flora, fauna, culture, language, religions, and arts of this multi-island commonwealth. The book is illustrated throughout with clear, colorful, informational photographs. Published in 2013, young report readers will need to use other resources for updated population statistics, etc. Otherwise, this book gives readers a basic introduction to the islands.
