Unlocking the debate behind the headlines, this book combines clear thinking with the very latest in science and medicine, enabling readers to decide for themselves exactly what the scientific future should hold.
McGee's book is a great tool to use if you're in need of conversational jumping off points. For me, however, it failed to hold my attention as anything else. I enjoyed the short cases that I read but not the book as a whole. I felt that McGee used the text too often as a soapbox and that was consistently beaten with his thoughts on the subject. Ironically that's what helped fuel my discussions with others though, our joint disagreements with Mr. McGee.
