This book would be a good one to incorporate when discussing life cycles of animals. The photographs are so beautiful and students can get an excellent visualization of the snowy owls. There is also a page at the end of the book that offers additional facts such as the snowy owl has twice as many neck bones as humans and can turn its head a great deal more.
