A fabulous history of women who snagged royals. There were so many women with great stories! I wished the format of this book was a bit more conducive to picking up and read; it is simply arranged alphabetically by last name. There truly were some wonderful stories in here; who thought women got divorced so much so many years ago- really, we make such a big deal about Elizabeth Taylor! Some of these ladies make her look like a novice. I loved learning about Jackie O's sister (who knew!) and I hardly knew about the family that lived at Dalvay-by-the-Sea (recognizable as the posh hotel on P.E.I from Anne of Green Gables). I am not one for 'coffee table' books, but I think perhaps this would make a nice one.
