Clunky writing, obvious plot line. Plus, lots of references to 1998 "new technology" which is archaic in the 2011 electronic world. ("On the Compaq computer, he typed in CD/DOS>_ to read the floppy disk.") It made the book feel outdated and distracted from the story. Just OK; I should have read it 13 years ago!
