Though his two brothers and father think him useless because he likes to talk and sing, Lafe outsmarts them all by settling the long feud between his family and the neighboring ranch.
A nice little tale from the author of 'The Summerfolk' about two rip-roaring families of rowdy cowboys who like to raise all sorts of heck with each other. The only difference between the two is one has a rather romantic-minded son and the other has a demure daughter. See where this is heading? It's a little more pleasing in the telling, as well as the excellent artwork by the author.
