Chosen

I love David Leadbeater novel's full of action and surprises. I'm more use to reading Matt Drake books, but this was surprisingly good. The characters were all well fleshed out and very believable. The bad guys were really evil, and the good guy's were very human with all of our frailties. Also included with some very awesome powers. I could not put it down, I read it in one sitting and will download the next book post haste. Fab

Another excellent book

I chose this rating as the book deserves it. I love all supernatural things and having humans and fae fighting demons ticks all the boxes in one and I love a good twist as this book throws in had me gripped all the way through. Onto next one now yay

Great

this is another great offering from an author that definitely has IT. this is the 9th book I have read by David and he never fails at keeping the reader engaged and at the edge of your seat. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Ethos, Pathos and logos are important to a story line. The writer must be able to give the reader something or someone to relate to. Although this book is well written, it failed to pull me in emotionally. Its hectic pace and changing scene are packed with action, but I couldn't relate to the characters. Perhaps this genre is not my cup of tea.
