There are those textbooks that drag on forever about nothing like a high school sophomore struggling to get to the minimum word requirement. I've always wondered why publishers produce books like this. It seems like a waste of paper. However, this textbook, is one that seems to be written for the Information Age in that it gives you the basics of different theories and methods without going crazy about any specific topic. I like that about it. If I want to know more about the stuff they're talking about I'll look up the references online or something.

More textbooks should follow this set-up!

Educational school textbook. It probably helps prepare me for the professional knowledge exam, but beyond that, not that exciting. I do like that it has references to diverse student populations.
