The Note - Kevin Alan Milne The story is about promises made and real life interfering. When Ethan's wife is in a terrible accident and he needs to make the hard decision to remove her from life support, he finally fulfills his promise to write her a song, and of course she recovers. A little bit predictable, but still a good read.

Dick Francis's Gamble written by Felix Francis. A fun mystery with lots of bad people that takes place in London and the english horse races. Kept me guessing till the end.

The Orchard by Theresa Weir. The story is about a rootless young woman with a less than desirable childhood. She meets a man who is tied to his family (disfunctional) and his family orchard. The two against all odds marry and somehow make the marriage work.

Lethal - by Sandra Brown I did not read the condensed version because I believe I have the full version in my to read pile of books

Final Note: 4 stars - Very good story, couldn't wait to get back to the book.

Dick Franceis's Gamble: 3 stars - I usually don't care much for his books, but I read them anyway. This one was definitely one of his better ones.

The Orchard: 5 stars - What a great author! Looking back on the book I don't know if the subject matter was that great, but the writing was very, very good and sucked you in without you even knowing it. I will definitely be reading more of her novels. And I will never eat another apple in my life without thinking of this story!

Lethal: 5 stars - I have read many of Sandra Brown's books and they are almost always very good. This one is no different. It kept me turning the pages and I actually had enough time to read it in 2 days.
