This is my favorite book of all books and recommend it to everyone I know. The characters come to life and stay with you long after you’ve put the book down. It is haunting, maddening, and sorrowful. It is full of pain, full of hope, and full of love but also gives you such a deep understanding how someone can carry so much hate. Hatred is a slow ember of shame and self loathing until the wind blows on the ember causing a catastrophic tragedy. It was as good of a read the 2nd time as the first and i’ll continue pleading with everyone to read it.
