This remarkable book was published in 1947 and contains much to please historians and architects, the downside is the text is very dry and formal. A profusely illustrated tome, that requires a large amount of existing knowledge.
Overall a sound little books that does not suffer from moron level modern writing and expects an intelligent reader.
