Sanaa looks for love in all the wrong places. After her boyfriend Trey broke up with her weeks after finding out she was pregnant, Sanaa fell into a deep depression. She found promiscuity her only path to recover of her broken heart. But her path becomes even more difficult when she discovers she is pregnant again several months later. Now 21 years old, kicked out of her parent’s home, trying to make a life for two kids and no father figure for either of her children puts Sanaa in a position to do some serious soul searching. She thought there was no love for her until she meets two men that are too good to be true. But will her tainted image of men force her to choose the wrong man? Or will she choose at all? Sanaa finds that the process that comes with seeking God for love doesn’t make the path less easy to travel. Author Marques Lewis gives full accounts of hot sex, twisting suspense, and knowledge on how a woman should be treated and behaves. Make sure to put on your seatbelt for the ride of your life in this urban erotic drama.
Being a single mother with children, for many, is always lonely, stressful, and a difficult time in a woman’s life. At 19 years of age, Sanaa was in love, engaged, and ready to start a life with her fiancée of four years. Her happiness, however, ended when her fiancée informed her that he was leaving her for another woman. Sanaa, pregnant, broken-hearted, depressed, and alone, turned to her parents and they immediately become angry, letting her know of their disappointment in her. This was the beginning of Sanaa’s journey of being single, a mother, and living a life of stress, struggle, and pain.
After giving birth to her daughter, Sanaa often found herself lusting over every man that looked her way or gave her any attention. By the age 21, Sanaa had two children by two different men. Will Sanaa find the love of her life, get married, and live happily ever after?
I was very disappointed with Marques Lewis’ book, “It’s Love for Her.” I understand that there are issues in finding a reliable editor for many authors these days, but it seems as if the author did not look over his book once it was returned to him. There were incomplete sentences, grammar and punctuation issues, and misuse of words throughout the entire book. I found myself re-reading sentences and that interrupted my flow of reading. This made the book a time consuming read. I also came across a misconception about the delivery of a baby.
About fifty percent of the book was sexual encounters, leaving little room for development in other areas of the story. Outside of these issues, “It’s Love for Her” started off slow. I believe Marques Lewis has talent, but I feel that if he, or a qualified editor, would have looked over his book he would have himself a great read. With that said, I have to give this book a 1-star rating. Again, I do think Marques Lewis has talent and I do wish him the best in his journey in writing.
Sanaa was doing too much. After her fiance leaving her everything started going wrong. She was going overboard trying to get him back. The way Sanaa tried to mend her broken heart was crazy. I couldn't believe she lied to Q and it seemed as if she didn't really care anyways. You would think she learned her lesson after her first love left her to care for a child on her own. I was wondering why she was sleeping with these dudes without protection regardless if she knew them or not. The way she was ok for her friend to sleep with someone she had just finished dealing with though? Apparently they're use to that. Both guys seem to be good dudes but I think the commitment won't last. They fell for each other too quick. I swear she's looking for love in all the wrong places and only wants the relationship so she won't be alone. Sanaa needs to do better!
This book has me at a loss for words. At first I thought this was going to be a book I could relate to, a single mother looking for love, but I was wrong. This girl is 21 with two kids by two different men looking for love in a pair of boxers. She was sleeping around like an idiot for all the wrong reasons. There were things said that contradicted other stuff. One minute she was on texting a day then all of a sudden they were on the phone with no mention that she ever caller him. Those sex scene dialogs were torture to read thru. I mean for real they were wack as hell. And can somebody please tell me what is different about sex in the shower that a condom isn't needed? I have never heard that ever in life... This book did not floe well to me and the ending was wack for a book that is now a series. It didn't leave me with that feeling of OMG I need to buy thr next book so I wnt
Sanaa is a young girl that thought she had it all in one man. When he decides to leave her Sanaa starts looking for love in all the wrong places. She ends up with 2 kids that have different dads all by the age of 21. Now she is looking to have a relationship with someone real.
I had to force myself to finish this book. The author really needs to learn the difference between showing and telling. Some parts of the book had Sanaa talking to us the reader and then it would flip to her speaking to other characters. The transition was not good and it all seemed so forced. I think this book needs a developmental editor. Maybe that way more information could be given so you would be able to connect to the character better. I know there is a part 2 but I won't be reading it.
I really wasn't feeling this story and couldn't wait to finish it. I was getting bored with this character. Sanaa is a young girl having unprotected sex with a lot of men she doesn't really know in her quest for love. She confuses lust with love. She already has two fatherless children by her actions. Other than that, it's not much going on here. It was short and just faded out. This needs work. I don't remember ever giving one star until now.
This book was full of randomness. It was so much going that it completely swallowed up the main point (...whatever that was) of the book. I give this book 3 stars because it had the potential to be great if some of the craziness was cut out. I understand that the occurences prevalent in the story are very realistic but to spell it all out became a little too much.
3.5 stars this young lady was a little to promiscuous for me. I don't think that's how you find love. Although she found someone that could supposedly give her what she needs that still wasn't enough. I personally feel after choosing between the two that should have been enough, but the scene with the next door neighbor then passing him off to the friend...huh????
This book started out decent but went down hill really fast. I don't understand why being rejected once turned her into a promiscuous girl. Two great guys had her attention and she was still sexing on the side with random people. Last chapters of book were mainly sec and no substance. I didn't enjoy and had to force myself yo finish this book.
Sanaa feels like she found her Prince charming but it sounds too good to be true. There is more to Shawn she doesn't know, she is too gullible in this book. I hope to see growth in Sanaa in the next two parts of this book. The sex scenes were crazy. I'm ready to read part 2.
I love the story, the characters, the plot and all that the author was trying to convey in this book. Marques please continue to write whether is poetry, novels or movie scripts. I will support you either way because you are a true friend. Thanks for the books, I love them all.
Very exciting story telling, the explicit sexual activity of the Heroin in this is amazing. It's as if the sex scenes are being preformed with you in the room watching.
This book was about a female looking for love and lust took over. Unfortunately this is what happens to a lot of woman in real life. The story was rely good. I wonder what part 2 has in store for the readers.
Love it!!! A great story that I have seen happen over and over again. It ia well written and touches on what a lot of young girls really deal with daily,
