I love this stage play adaptation of the classic British children's novel. I am seriously considering directing this for our next HS fall play. I would give it 5 stars for the creativity of the adaptation, but will go with 4 for now because the text of the adaptation is not as clear and tight and accurate to the final version of the initial production. Like most scripts, it would have been really helpful if they had provided a bit more explanation, stage diagrams, etc. for the original production. It feels a little hasty in its publication and I would have really appreciated some more end notes, etc.

Lots of good fun, with a dreamy kind of fantastic running through it. The play is full of life and small adventures and humor, exactly as a play about children should be.
