In and of itself very relevant and important information in how to embrace Christ Consciousness through the participation in our seasonal festivals, Christian and season (solstices, etc.)
There are a couple of gripes that I experienced while reading this. The main problem I have with this book (and with many other works about Steiner's ideas) is that they typically exclusive quote Steiner. Now, I understand he was a very gifted and clairvoyant man, but relying solely on his visions does not really fortify the argument, especially when Steiner already said the same things in other books. In that sense, it works well as a compilation of Steiner's ideas surrounding the finding of Christ to participation of festivals.
However, we come to the next gripe: the reasoning is often unsubstantiated, relying solely on Steiner, as I said, but also taking speculative, esoteric ideas and mixing those archetypal concepts with factual information, hence colluding the field of valuable information with the result of presenting unconvincing and far-fetched conclusions. I have no problem with far-fetched conclusions, but the way to which we arrive there. I.e. I would be fine with it if Mr. Anderson emphasized these ideas as his own, or attributed them to another author or thinker, or specified the different realities on which his statements can be viewed and interrelate. As such, much of his reasoning seems to be circular.
However, there are nuggets of gold to be find, in regards to elemental beings, the way energy is drawn into the earth and how Christ Consciousness can be felt at certain moments in time. All of these psychic, subtle layers I have felt personally, and, as such, I find resonant with my own worldview and experiences. If someone is completely new to this, it might seem like a load of rubbish, which, unfortunately, it often sounds like - but at the core lies the most fundamental principle we as humans can get to grips with: Christ Consciousness and the embracing of the Mystery of life, the universe and everything.
To be continued.
