What a lovely Book (And CD). The rhymes were enchanting and the meanings were clear for the most part. And if you, or your children, don't understand what the song is saying you'll enjoy the music. I loved some of the familiar rhymes like 30 days hath September.. in Spanish, and it was nice to have the pages numbered in Spanish. Also loved the addition problems with answers in Spanish. There is just so much to recommend this book. A wonderful gift for the little ones in your family regardless of whether you want them to learn Spanish or not.
A nice collection of Spanish rhymes on various themes. Unfortunately, due to a lack of titles, the structure of the book may be a little confusing to those who are not already familiar with these rhymes. Throughout the book the rhymes are presented in Spanish only until the end pages, where there are English translations of some and explanations of accompanying motions or gestures. Includes a CD.
A collection of Spanish rhymes, songs, and chants. All text is in Spanish and English speakers are aided by the labels in the illustrations that accompany each rhyme.
A CD is included to encourage children to sing and act out the rhymes. English translations round out the book and give readers some background information on each rhyme.
This is a great resource for parents and educators interested in bilingual resources. PreK-2.
