This book took me AGES to read. It was one of the slowest reads of my life and I found myself rereading pages without realizing it. It wasn’t necessarily boring, but it was heavy. And that’s to be expected of a book at this level. Plato does not disappoint and doesn’t go easy on his readers either.

I’m glad to finally be reaching a point where I can read other things. Anything else is a cake walk compared to this. That being said, his opinions and works are like no other. It’s SO clear that they are a foundation to years and years of philosophy. The rhetoric used throughout left me feeling convinced with no doubts and no questions unanswered. I was taken aback by the complexity and detail within this work. Wow.

Thank you Plato. The amount I have learned was immeasurable.
