Tracing the practical history that Catechesis within the Catholic Church has gone through, the author brings out the salient features of the various periods in time. He moves towards proposing the famous time tested model of the Catechist on the road to Emmaus and does it in an enhanced light with the help of Fr. Dominic Ashkar. The pastoral concerns and the FAQs are notably practical and inspiring. In keeping with my renewed interest in comprehending and implementing Whole Community Catechesis, the author ends where Whole Community Catechesis has to pick up from. In totality, it is a good read!
