100 pages, including covers, staple-bound; looks like a digest-sized magazine. European film star Romay is given a rare biographical treatment in this scarce publication with an introduction penned by her most famous director (and longtime companion), Jess Franco. Filmography; black-and-white illustrations of every aspect of Ms. Romay's career.
Hats off for taking a Lina's eye view of her career, framed thoroughly from her perspective instead of from her husband's. Also kudos for being there at the right time, when they had amassed such a body of work behind them but a good 13 years before Jess got the Goya award.
Intriguing to see a few films here that always get credited as directed by him under her name, as her own work here from their own lips too.
