Like that of many others, Peter Gladwin's life began He was seriously burned in a house fire at the age of one, put on probation at thirteen for burglary and theft, stabbed in a gang fight at fifteen, and the victim of a hit and run attwenty-four. Other obstacles included his personal addictions, his wife's battle with cancer, and his father's suicide. Whilecontemplating his own suicide, he found faith in God, and this was the catalyst that turned his life around.

What an amazing book, and what a truly wonderful story! I couldn't put it down. It's a 'must read'. It made me smile. It made me cry. It's a real page-turner. A story, not without humour, and yet such a penetrating message. Peter Gladwin almost burned to death aged one, and later entered a life of crime, drink and drugs. Then, whilst sitting on a bus, he was knifed, almost to death, by a gang. He suffered suicidal despair - and then everything changed. Here is a message of hope for the hopeless, that will become a classic in our time.

Probably the best book I'll read this year - and I'll read quite a few! There is such warmth and candour here - buy at least two copies, because you will want to give one away.
