Zephyr Zodiac

Rate this book
This is the story of a Mark 3 Ford Zephyr Zodiac from the time it rolled off the production line in 1962 until it met its end in a car crusher in 2012, and how it affected the lives of seven of the people who owned it during that time. Read how during its fifty years on this earth it was used as a company car, a family car,a wedding car, a funeral car, a taxi, a home, a safe, a Classic Car, given birth in, stolen (more than once), used to have sex in (much more than once), and was instrumental in giving its grateful owner his life back.
A chapter from this book is published as the short story 'Dead Men Don't Walk'.

If you enjoyed reading Zephyr Zodiac I would really appreciate it if you were to recommended it to any of your friends who you think might like it.

The day after I threw in my mundane factory job to become a television comedy scriptwriter I was involved in a car accident which left me unable to turn my head. Since then I have never looked back.
Before they took me away I wrote BBC television comedy scripts for Les Dawson, The Two Ronnies, Morecambe and Wise, Alas Smith and Jones, Not the Nine O’Clock News, Ken Dodd, Roy Hudd, and several others. I also wrote the award-winning BBC radio series Star Terk Two.
I started writing books when I retired from scriptwriting in 1995. Up to now I have written sixteen, all of them humour.
Born in New Mills, Derbyshire, England in 1938, I still live there with my wife Delma and my mistress Divine Bottom (in my dreams).

My book Stairlift to Heaven is an Amazon Countdown Deal at just 99cents from April 5 to April 12.

This is a book of short stories all connected with the one car being a Ford Zephyr Zodiac. These stories are totally ridiculous and very un PC, however I did find them pretty entertaining. At times I did laugh aloud but mostly it was more little giggles. I have read a few other of this author's books, and I can understand why some people may not find them to their liking, but having been brought up with this sort of humour all around me, I can see the funny side.

This book follows the lives of the owners of the same Mark 3 Ford Zephyr Zodiac from its first purchase to its demise.

This book is like a lot of short stories as although the car links them there is no real flow in the overall story, but to be perfectly honest they are very good stand alone stories as well. The stories are all so different and appeal to different emotions. They are extremely we written though would be nice to be longer.

This book is definately worth reading thanks to the author.

I have read quite a lot of Terrys books, and I love them.. This one, wouldnt not have been one of my favourites but a nice read none the less.
Its a collection of stories based around the owners of the Zephyr Zodiac car.... some of the characters drove me mad and some made me laugh. It had some lovely moments in it too.
