This book was fantastic! With humor, candid thoughts and support from her friends and family, Connie was able to get through her horrible fight against breast cancer! When most of us would have thrown in the towel, this amazing woman gave it her all! She didn't pull any punches - she let us know when it got rough. She cried, we cried, she laughed, we laughed. There were times when I was doing both at the same time! It was a roller coaster ride but I feel so triumphant for her that she survived!

I think this is a must read for everyone. We all know someone who has fought this fight.

So many of our lives have been touched by breast cancer.... either directly or indirectly. Connie faced her challenge head on and laughed whenever she could. Her strength is amazing and inspiring. Written from the heart. Connie dares to say out loud the things we all think but don't have the courage to say out loud! A definite must read!

Connie Bramer used to babysit my kids many moons ago. I had heard that she had breast cancer, but had no way of knowing the struggle she had gone thru. When I heard about her book, I couldn't wait to read it. OMG!! I had no idea what a great writer Connie is or of her courageous fight against this disease. She is one tough chick. She started a blog to keep her friends and family up-to-date on what was going on and how she was feeling. Her sense of humor was unbelievable. The outpouring of love from her friends and family was so touching. There were so many places in the book where I cried my eyes out. We all have people in our lives who have fought this fight. Connie puts it out there with so much information but at the same time keeping her spirits up for her two young children. I definately would recommend this book.

Connie opens up her personal life to all the emotional highs and lows of coping with breast cancer. You will laugh and cry with her"misadventures". Its a must read for anyone going through this ordeal and those who love them. She lets you in on things that we all want to know, but are afraid to ask,all with a great sense of humor. I look forward to a sequel on her life after breast cancer.

Connie and I went to school together. I absolutely enjoyed reading her journey. The book was well written (our English teacher would be proud). I laughed and I cried...sometimes I was even doing both!
